Sake Samurai Marie Chiba Joins Ishizuka on 4th July
Marie Chiba has gained international acclaim as one of Japan’s most influential sake sommeliers. As the visionary behind one of Tokyo’s most sought-after sake bars, EUREKA!, she is celebrated for her science-driven, deeply personalised approach to sake selection. Her innovative philosophies including “in-mouth pairing” and immersive, chef-led tasting menus have positioned her at the forefront of a new generation of sake experiences.
Appointed as a “Sake Samurai” in 2019, Chiba continues to be strongly recognised for her contributions to promoting sake and Japanese food culture globally. On Friday 4th of July, guests will have the incredibly unique opportunity to witness a culinary journey of traditional craftsmanship and kaiseki artistry. Each course is designed to evoke memory, emotion, and discovery — an atmospheric journey that unfolds over an eight-course menu from Chef Yoshino paired with a curated selection of sake from Chiba.

Ishizuka invites you to discover its new Home Dining collection — an elegant in-home experience that reflects the seasonal finesse and refined craftsmanship of the two-hatted restaurant.
Launching this July, Executive Chef Katsuji Yoshino presents exceptional offering:
Wagyu Sukiyaki Set and Sushi & Sashimi Assortment
Featuring A5 Kumamoto and MB9+ Sevens Creek Wagyu, accompanied by seasonal vegetables, tofu, and mushrooms. Designed for effortless preparation, this set brings the sophistication of restaurant-quality sukiyaki into your home.A ready-to-enjoy selection of seasonal maki rolls and sashimi, handpicked and prepared with the freshest market seafood. Highlights include Ishizuka’s signature Otsukuri course, with delicately plated sashimi served over shiso leaves and paired with pickled myoga, wasabi, and soy.
Each set is priced at $600.
Available for daily pick-up from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, starting Tuesday, July 8.
Orders must be placed at least three days in advance.

Cancellation Policy
We request a minimum of 48 hours notice for any cancellation, reduction of diners, or date changes to avoid a cancellation fee equal to the price of our menu per person.
Dietary Requirements
Our menu is predominately seafood-based and contains soy, gluten, dairy, shellfish, and nuts.
Please provide at least 48 hours notice for dietary requirements at either reservation@ishizuka.com.au or by providing information at the time of booking.
Dress Code
We request an elegant casual dress code.
We ask that guests refrain from applying strong cologne or perfumes.
Please be aware of conversation volume when dining with us.
Children
We welcome guests of 12 years old and above but we do not offer changes to our menu size.
