Ishizuka is open seven days for dinner Monday – Sunday.
We offer two dining times: 5.30pm – 7.30pm, and 8.00pm – 10.00pm

We serve one set kaiseki menu, it is priced at $315pp. A $100 per person deposit is required at the time of booking.
Proud to be led by the same independent ownership since our doors opened in 2018, Ishizuka this year celebrates six years of kaiseki cuisine in Melbourne.

In April
Onigiri Taro at Ishizuka
Ishizuka is proud to announce our collaboration with renowned onigiri chef, Taro Kiso in April 2025. Taro is famed the world over for his hand-crafted onigiri, starting with piping hot short-grain rice that he cooks in a specialized donabe earthenware pot using traditional techniques. Taro uses only the finest quality rice, water, and salt to create the perfect onigiri.

We invite you to enjoy Executive Chef Katsuji Yoshino’s trademark onigiri, together with eight dishes from our Autumn menu.

For two days only, Saturday 26th April and Sunday 27th April. Reservations are available via the Event reservation page.

Limited-edition Mother’s Day Gift Box – Castella & Gyokur

Treat your mum to Executive Chef Katsuji Yoshino’s interpretation of our signature castella, a beloved Japanese dessert reminiscent of a honey sponge cake. Combining the meticulous art of Japanese kaiseki with fresh Australian ingredients, the result is slightly sweet with an incredible cloud-like fluffiness. Placed inside a handcrafted box, the top is adorned with an exquisite array of vibrant flowers. To complete the experience, Ishizuka presents two bottles of premium Gyokuro green tea grown in the heart of Japan’s Kagoshima prefecture.

The Mother’s Day Gift Boxes are limited with five available each day Monday 5th April through Thursday 8th April, and ten each day from Friday 9th April to Sunday 11th April. Order is available via here.

Cancellation Policy

We request a minimum of 48 hours notice for any cancellation, reduction of diners, or date changes to avoid a cancellation fee equal to the price of our menu per person.

Dietary Requirements

Our menu is predominately seafood-based and contains soy, gluten, dairy, shellfish, and nuts.
Please provide at least 48 hours notice for dietary requirements at either reservation@ishizuka.com.au or by providing information at the time of booking.

Dress Code

We request an elegant casual dress code.
We ask that guests refrain from applying strong cologne or perfumes.
Please be aware of conversation volume when dining with us.

Children

We welcome guests of 12 years old and above but we do not offer changes to our menu size.
